Why It Matters

Most failed lessons come from pushing when a channel is closed. Identifying the blockage enables us to pause, provide support, and reopen the pathway.

Example: Teaching a back float

  • Emotional: child trusts enough to lean back

  • Physiological: body holds buoyant position

  • Neurological: brain tracks “chin up, tummy up” together

If one channel closes, the float sinks. When all three align, the skill sticks.

Together, these three frameworks are the heart of our teaching philosophy:

3CRM: Are they ready to learn right now?

C2C: How will their confidence and competence grow?

P2P: What exact skills mark progress along the way?

They connect the dots between emotions, ability, and milestones, so every child’s journey feels safe, exciting, and measurable.
